David Esser, born in 1989 in Hamburg, Germany, has been working in the field of sonic arts since 2011. Starting in electronic music, he now operates within the realm of sound art. Since 2021, Esser has been creating sound installations and engaging in sound design. At the core of his work lies the exploration of the neuralgic intersections of technology, nature, and spirituality. Esser is continuously seeking to channel all these points into a synergistic process that aims to dissolve perceived oppositions.

For Esser, sound design involves shaping the world through sound in a non-traditional sense. He also delves into the socio-ethnic aspects of a potential future society where sound serves as a central medium for intercultural and interdisciplinary convergence.

Another crucial aspect of his work is the potential of the radio medium, where Esser sees the possibility of an ethereal engagement with sound. To him, radio acts as an invisible barrier between nature and humanity, inherently carrying the act of listening within itself. Esser lives and works in Berlin.
